Evergreen Acorn is a Keepsake in Hades. Evergreen Acorn is a defensive Keepsake given by Eurydice that prevents damage for a certain number of hits during each final boss fight at the end of each location in the Underworld. Evergreen Acorn is acquired after giving Nectar to Eurydice for the very first time. Eurydice can be found in in her own unique room in Asphodel, making use of the River Phlegethon for her cooking. This room can only be found at random.
How to Get Evergreen Acorn in Hades
- In order to obtain Evergreen Acorn, players have to obtain Nectar and give it to Eurydice. In return, they will receive Evergreen Acorn.
- NPCs only give a Keepsake the first time you give them Nectar. If you give Nectar repeatedly to the same NPC you will not receive more Keepsakes.
- Nectar can be found in rooms that have its icon nectar on the door
- Nectar can also be purchased from the Wretched Broker, only one per run can be acquired.
Hades Evergreen Acorn Keepsake Guide
- The Keepsakes cabinet can be found in Zagreus' room in the House of Hades, and in the Courtyard where you'll find the Infernal Arms.
- Players have to equip Keepsakes to gain their effects. Zagreus can equip 1 active Keepsake and 1 Legendary Keepsake at a time. If players select a second Keepsake while interacting with the Keepsakes menu, it will replace the first one. When checking the Keepsake's cabinet in the corresponding area, just click on the one you want to equip it. A golden frame will indicate which Keepsake has been selected.
- Keepsakes, unlike Boons, are permanent and WILL NOT be lost upon Death. Once unlocked, they will remain unlocked on that save.
- You can only switch between Keepsakes mid-run after completing the work order "Keepsake Collection, Regional" with the House Contractor. Keepsakes can only be switched in safe areas in between Locations or different environments in the Underworld.
How to upgrade Evergreen Acorn in Hades
When first receiving Evergreen Acorn, or any other Keepsake, it will be at Rank 1, and players can upgrade it twice to reach Rank 3. Players can upgrade Evergreen Acorn by having it equipped and completing a number of encounters while doing so.
