Quests for Hades are the different tasks and objectives that players can take up throughout their journey as Zagreus. Quests can be found after completing the Work Order for Fated List of Minor Prophecies from the House Contractor which contains tasks or fates that will reward players upon fulfillment. Quests may also unlock more features that will have more immersive qualities for the player, rewards that will aid players in their journey throughout the game, and offer different ways of helping them progress. This page will list all the Quests in the game, how to start them, and how to complete them.

What are Quests in Hades?

Quests are the Minor Prophecies or tasks that players can complete throughout their journey in the Underworld. This feature can be unlocked after commissioning the House Contractor for 20 Gemstones to complete the Work Order for The Fated List of Minor Prophecies which contains all 55 missions that can be unlocked as players progress the story.

The unlock condition for Quests usually includes meeting the requirements, reaching specific conditions in the game, or upon progressing the game's story past a certain point. Doing so will unlock more quests as they go through the game, but other quests become available upon completing the Work Order.

How to Unlock Quests in Hades?

The Quests or Minor Prophecies in Hades can be unlocked by paying 20 Gemstones to the House Contractor. Gemstones is one of the Artifacts that can be used for upgrades and decorations at the House Contractor and can be obtained by doing the following:

Can be obtained as a reward for completing Blue Laurels chambers.
Can be obtained from clearing Infernal Troves.
Can be obtained from Fishing in Tartarus and the Styx biome, and trading them with the Head Chef.
Obtaining the Vanquisher's Keep order from the House Contractor for 4 Diamonds enables bosses to drop Gemstones as rewards. The value of each drop increases with the level of difficulty.
Can be obtained as a reward for completing certain tasks from the Fated List of Minor Prophecies.
Can be purchased from the Wretched Broker during Limited Time Offers.

House Contractor Information in Hades

The House Contractor is an NPC assigned to restore and renovate various locations in the Underworld. He offers services such as additional furnishings, cosmetic items, and various upgrades that introduce additional game features found under Work Orders in exchange for Gemstones and Diamonds.

There is a total of Six (6) Categories found under the House Contractor's services:

Work Orders: Contains various upgrades beneficial to Zagreus by making runs more manageable.
Great Hall: Contains Cosmetic, Decorations, and Utility upgrades for the Great Hall.
West Hall: Contains Cosmetic, Decorations, and Utility upgrades for the West Hall.
Lounge: Contains Cosmetic, Decorations, and Utility upgrades for the Lounge, where the Wretched Broker and Head Chef are located.
Bedchambers: Contains Cosmetic, Furnishings, and Utility upgrades for the Bedchambers of Zagreus.
Court Music: Contains upgrades for the Music Stand.
