Charon is a Boss in Hades. Charon is surprisingly a secret boss in the game after the Blood Price update. A prompt will cause him to think you were stealing and will teleport you to an Erebus arena and attack you.

Where to Find Charon Boss in Hades
To trigger Charon as a secret boss, find a room with his symbol in any level of the game except the Temple of Styx. Spot a symbol behind him and a prompt will appear telling you to "borrow" a specific amount of gold. This will then teleport you to a secret arena in Erebus and the Boss fight will commence.

Charon Fight Strategy
Charon as a boss can be a pain when it comes to ranged attacks. When he uses his signature ghost charge around the room. You'll have to take advantage of the pillars around to have a small chance of dodging his attacks. To counter Charon, the best way to do so is to pressure him with melee attacks. He's a bit slow when it comes to close quarters but you'll just have to back up when he tries to stun you with a wave. At about 75% health, Charon will destroy some pillars that provide you cover which will become a bit more difficult for you. You'll have to make use of the remaining pillars and attack him using melee when you get a window. Charon will call off the fight at around 20% health to give you a membership card.

| Ghost Attack | Charon moves to the left side of the arena and spawns multiple ghosts that serve as ranged attacks all throughout the room in a v-shaped pattern. | Dodging is almost impossible due to the amount of ghosts spawned, so the best way to counter this is to hide behind the pillars. |
| Weapon Swing | Charon moves towards you and swings his weapon in a wide range. | This can easily be dodged by backing up from him as he approaches. |
| Purple Wave | When close, Charon will sometimes pound the ground an summon a circular wave that can knock you back and stun you. | When he pauses for a bit, back up. |
