Charon (NPC) is an NPC in Hades. Charon, the son of Nyx, serves as the boatman of the River Styx, ferrying souls into the Underworld. In Hades, he acts as the shopkeeper, selling Zagreus power-ups, healing items, and boons in exchange for the obols he collects during escape attempts.

Where to Find Charon (NPC) in Hades
Charon can be found in chambers marked by a brown sack icon, typically located around the mid-point of each biome before a mini-boss encounter and in the penultimate chamber before the biome's boss fight. Additionally, he also manages the Wells of Charon, which appear randomly throughout the Underworld.
About Charon (NPC) in Hades
Charon communicates primarily through a range of groans, which Zagreus seems to understand or finds amusing to interpret humorously. In Greek mythology, Charon required a single obol as payment for ferrying souls across the River Styx. This coin was placed in the mouth of the deceased before burial. Without it, the soul would wander the riverbanks for a hundred years.
